Setting attainable goals that have an emotional driver, which are then backed up by a commitment (preferably with a completion date) are proven to be more likely to happen than the usual empty promises we make to ourselves every year.
When you've downloaded your poster, print it out and take the time to fill it out carefully and put it somewhere prominent you'll see it every day. (Next to you on your office wall)
Every night, before you go to bed, read the goals out loud and finish with the statement of intent. (I WILL ACHIEVE)
